These posts seem to become more and more of a desperate attempt to keep up with the things in my life. The same happens when I run into a friend, or try to answer "what have you been up to", or "how's your summer going". I could try to spit out a brief synopsis, or just give a few short words....but I have not found the best way to do this. I have often been answering by saying travelling around mostly, and if I say it in just the right tone, they understand that it is not the time nor place where I am willing to elaborate. I feel somewhat awkward asking other people what they have been up to, because I know the question will return to me. Atleast there are few to none people that read this, so it is a convenient place to remind myself of what I have been doing, or keep a history that I may look back on one day to pull out forgotten memories. I hope my memory does not fail me anytime soon, but I am having a more difficult time trying to pack things in and remember good details. Since last post, I got my sailboat in the water, hosted three German couchsurfers, went to my friends 80s themed wedding, and started wakeboarding again after a year of knee problems. I have a little over 2 weeks until school starts again. I considered going with my Germans to Denver to visit a friend and climb Long's Peak....but I have many things to do, and I have been very exhausted and sunburned, so it is probably better that I stay. I have my sailboat in the water, ready to be sailed. I will probably go it alone mostly, which is a slight disappointment to what I envisioned. I have a lot to do today, so I better get going. Bye.
